Famous Places to visit in Telangana.
The charminar which was constructed in 1591 and located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
It has become an global icon for Hyderabad in the world. The charminar is located on the east side of musi river.

2. Makkah Masjid
Makka Masjid of Hyderabad is one of the largest mosques of South India.
It has a capacity of 10,000 worshipers for prayers.

3. Golconda Fort
Golkonda which is also know as Golla Konda situated 11 kilometers west of Hyderabad.

4. Hussain Sagar Lake
Hussain Sagar is the heart shape lake which is found in Hyderabad.
This lake was built by Hazrat Hussain Shah Wali in the year 1563.
On 27th september 2012 Hussain Sagar Lake was declared as ‘Heart of the World’ by UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organisation).
5. Birla Mandir
Birla Mandir is a hindu temple and located in the heart of the city.
It is built on a hill rock which is 85m high called Naubath Pahad.
To construct this temple it took 10 years and it was opened for public in 1976.
6. Chowmahalla Palace
Chowmahalla Palace was the residence of nizams of hyderabad state while they were ruling the state.
This palace was presented the prestigious UNESCO Asia Pacific Merit award.
It was presented on 15th March 2010.
7. Kakatiya Kala Thoranam – Warangal
Kakatiya kala thoranam which is famously known as warangal gate.
It is a historical place in warangal district.
This fort has been adopted as symbol of kakatiya dynasty.
It is officially incorporated as Emblem of Telangana for the newly formed state of Telangana.
8. Thousand Pillar Temple – Hanamakonda
This temple is 150 KM away from hyderabad.
This temple was believed to be built during the period between 1175–1324 CE by order of the king Rudra Deva.
9. Gnana Saraswati Temple – Basar
Gnana Saraswati temple is the one of the two famous saraswati temples in India.
The other is located in Jammu and Kashmir.
Kids are bought to this temple for the first time learning ceremony called as Akshara abyasam.
10. Bhongir Fort -Nalgonda
The Bhongir Fort is a wonderfull historical fort which has a unique egg-shaped construction which consists of tow entry points protected by big rocks. Bhongir Hill fort wat constructed in the period of the Chalukyan King of Vikram-adity.
